Raiders visit the City of Brotherly Love game thread
Philly and the Eagles won’t show the Raiders much love today. Unless you consider another lose to draft the Heisman Winner an example of love for your fellow man.

I continue to watch just to see how bad we can be. They take it as a challenge every week to be worse than the week beforeraidersince63 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 12:34 pm 66 total yards from the Raiders offense today.
The only reason I continue to watch the games is because I just can't help myself...old habits are hard to break.

I watch for comedic value. I have to make fun of them and laugh .... I am way past being upset about this clown show.raidersince63 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 12:34 pm 66 total yards from the Raiders offense today.

As the coach, or the players, what do you even say after a game like this in a season like this? I feel like there cant even really be anything TO say. Get changed and go home, no need to practice or plan for next week, there's no point, no one is even showing up. This is a historically bad team that has also become a lame duck team. I WISH I believed they were tanking on purpose... but I dont.

Garrett with another sack. .5 away from tying the record.

I just hope this pain leads to a good pick for next year.

I can't count the times this season I've said "Same ole Raiders".JD707 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 12:36 pm I watch for comedic value. I have to make fun of them and laugh .... I am way past being upset about this clown show.

If we win a game, it is highly doubtful that we will rise above pick #4. A 3rd win drops us to #6. NO still has to play NYJ and Cle, so as long as NO doesnt win both of those games, we would get to #4. We would still be behind NYG, TEN and 1 of NO, NYJ and Cle.Sloth_Fratelli wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 12:22 pm If we win a game & end up with pick #3, I can’t see a coach wanting to work Tom/Mark

Not really. Realistically we have to lose to NYG regardless of the outcome to the NYG-WAS game.

I believe now more than ever that there's no sense in keeping Maxx now even though he's in his prime. He'll be 29 before next season begins and this franchise is at least 2-3 years from turning things around which means he'll then be 31-32.
And Mad Maxx will never have more value than he has right now, so he could bring HUGE dividends in return via the right trade partner.

I am almost never for trading the best player on the team. This is the exception. This team is no where near being competitive, they will never be good before Crosby begins his decline. If nothing else give the man a chance to play for a real team and let him to to actually contribute to a team that can use him. He is wasted here, and this team needs a LOT of young blood.raidersince63 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 1:12 pm I believe now more than ever that there's no sense in keeping Maxx now even though he's in his prime. On a good note...PM injured, enter Gardner Minshew who throws a game ending interception...Chefs lose, and miss the PS.

Don't want to see players get injured and as for Minshew, once a Raider always a Raider.raidersince63 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 1:17 pm On a good note...PM injured, enter Gardner Minshew who throws a game ending interception...Chefs lose, and miss the PS.

Actually, I took some heat because I was for trading him last year...but I would hope that we might get at least a #1 pick and maybe a #2 or #3 in return from the right trade partner.JD707 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 1:14 pm I am almost never for trading the best player on the team.
