Unlike Stafford, Burrow is way younger and easily one of the top 3 quarterbacks in the league. The haul of draft picks to get a quarterback like him would have to be a starting point of five first rounders and five second rounders. lol

Well Pete Carroll is playing for his job; and if he manages to win just two more games and end up with a 4-13 record might just give him another season…Mark made no noise about firing Pete Carroll yet….I hear Miller is coming back this week in which I would just bench him for the season; and get him ready for next year

The Carson Palmer trade was an extremely short sighted acquisition and over estimated what the 2011 Raider team was. Bringing in Burrow would be worse, way worse.

We gave up our 2012 first round pick and 2013 second round pick for a rental that was only started 24 games.

However, "It was the greatest trade in football" according Hue "Action" Jackson as he reflected on his genius while enjoying his Irish Coffee and basking in his 15 minutes of fame with the press.

....beyond all of the other good, and many of which are obvious, points, we are finally in a position to only need to use one pick to potentially solve our QB issues for years to come, and to bolster the talent in front of that person, and while also filling in some crucial holes elsewhere.
...and I might be glass half full guy, but we have taken some potentially good pieces in recent years, and this year, especially, seemed to have done our best to not develop them, and put them in a position to grow. .....and while some players can seemingly make the players around them better in a hurry, we have had the coaching recently which makes everyone look worse than they would be otherwise, and our situation a bit more bleak because of it.
