This year’s Jaxson Dart
Brendan Sorsby, Cincinnati
I like this guy a lot, but unfortunately I absolutely suck at evaluating QBs

Draft tiebreakersWolfRaider wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 6:46 am I thought it was h2h when it’s two teams of they’ve played each other that year, but SOS when the is more.
determine the order of selection for teams with identical records, with the primary method being the strength of schedule. If that's also tied, the NFL uses a series of other tiebreakers like head-to-head results, common games, and strength of victory before resorting to a coin toss

You keep bringing up Telesco as of he was some draft guru for us when all he found was one player who has done anything in BowersSloth_Fratelli wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 4:35 am Could’ve done it this year with Membou & Dart, but see Tom Brady wants to play GM & instead of letting Telesco properly rebuild this team Martin Prince, I mean Mark has to hire a new imbecile
We were completely shit under him as well

Parsons is a liability because he's easily fatigued and he dawgs it against the run. This is all due to size. This is why the Cowboys improved getting rid of him.RI RAIDER wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 3:12 am He is the same size as Parsons (actually a little taller) but stronger. He is a game changer and disrupter.
The Raiders need monster DT's, not an edge rusher.

Revisionist history for a guy who has a solid record but
As for this years draft we already have our Jaxson Dart in Ty Simpson
I wonder if we double dip if we cant get one of the top QB’s since we do have 6 picks within 4 rounds

TBH, Parsons has been arguably one the biggest game changers on the defensive side of the ball in the entire NFL. I think Reese will be even better. Saying the Cowboys improved because they got rid of Parsons is silly. They improved because they got a good player in return, made 2 other VERY GOOD trades, and got guys who were injured back on the field.mranquales wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 10:07 am Parsons is a liability because he's easily fatigued and he dawgs it against the run. You want someone like that on our team?

Yeah, just like Tyree Wilson was right?

And got to play the Raiders to pump up their defensive ranking.RI RAIDER wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 10:33 am TBH, Parsons has been arguably one the biggest game changers on the defensive side of the ball in the entire NFL. The Cowboys did improve. They got Kenny Clark and Leonard Williams; two monster DTs. That's better than one marquee edge rusher.
And they got picks on top of all that. Genius moves. I wish the Raiders had the balls to drastically improve their team like that.

Oh so now 1 year is enough to judge a GM? Good to know.CWood24 wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 7:18 am You keep bringing up Telesco as of he was some draft guru for us when all he found was one player who has done anything in Bowers

That one guy is a HOF player. JPJ was in the top 1/2 of centers last year. Glaze had a solid rookie season. Amazing how the OL regressed significantly now with all this alleged better coaching.
Telesco came from yhe Polian tree. Polian had PREMIUM positions graded higher to take.
It’s more than likely Telesco takes Membou & then trades for Dart. So we’d have a potential franchise QB, foundational tackle to show in free agency.
So yeah I’m gonna be pi$$ed that we don’t have that now thanks to D-bag Mark & his d-bag bff who has ZERO experience to do what he’s doing & showing he sucks.
Lemme guess we got to keep Spytek for continuity now right?
BTW you wanna see revisionist GM history, listen to Attalya tell you how great Grimmace was.

You stand correct. They made good moves which is what I pointed out. That being said, saying that Parsons is a liability is crazy talk

Tom Telesco worked under some excellent talent evaluators and I am enjoying his commentary on Sirius-XM. He really didn't get much of a chance with the Raiders. Not sure if he was simply a casualty of changing regimes or suffered from a personality conflict with Mark.Sloth_Fratelli wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 1:40 pm Oh so now 1 year is enough to judge a GM? I felt whomever was responsible for his ousting was a bit trigger happy.

Were not going to know for sure for years, but I think in the end the Pokes are going to win that trade. Between the player they got back, the picks and the cap space they saved its hard to argue otherwise. The Packers pretty much have to win the SB to make it all worth it, and they dont look like the class of the NFC.mranquales wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 1:29 pmThen why couldn't the Packers beat the Cowboys?

I get the feeling Brady may have influenced the GM change as Mark picked out Telesco.ToastPatterson wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 6:34 pm Tom Telesco worked under some excellent talent evaluators and I am enjoying his commentary on Sirius-XM. Many moons ago coaches coached and GMs built the roster. GMs hired coaches who shared their vision. Coaches now have a lot more power over the roster and I don't see that as a good thing. Gruden the coach was good. Gruden the GM was awful. I think personnel management is a different skill set from coaching and most coaches can't do both.
I would have preferred Telesco be retained and lead the coaching search. And now I think Spytek should be retained and lead a coaching search. The current regime needs to go.
It's not just that our players get beat and are just not good enough. They look completely unprepared and that's on the coaching staff.

I agree. The only GM that got a legitimate shot was RM. He wasn't great, but he didn't totally suck, either.rhumbob wrote: Fri Nov 28, 2025 5:34 am Many moons ago coaches coached and GMs built the roster. GMs hired coaches who shared their vision. Spytek should stay and be allowed to hire the coach and build the roster... without any interference from Mark or whoever the coach is. I won't be all that upset if Spytek is let go, but I think if that happens, he got f[raiders_icon]cked. Whatever happens this next year, it needs to be permanent for at leasrt 3 years...that means the coach and staff, also. Time to do it right for a change.... and stick with it for a time.
