This year’s Jaxson Dart

Brendan Sorsby, Cincinnati

I like this guy a lot, but unfortunately I absolutely suck at evaluating QBs

We haven't scored a non garbage time TD since the first Drive vs the Broncos.
I don't see us picking up any meaningless wins the rest of the way this year.
I am inclined to agree with you.

If we lose out I think we will get the number 1 pick.

If he gets a hair up his ass and starts playing the younger guys, we may just eek 1 maybe 2 more wins.

Not seeing a win left on the schedule. NY almost beat Det with Winston so I think they will slap us around.

Sellers was never coming out, he has 2 more years of eligibility and may still develop into a top QB, if he's smart he will enter the transfer portal and go play for a more talented team. I still don't think Moore comes out, he's another that needs another year of development but if he does he probably has the highest ceiling but carries the biggest risk.

Any QB that comes out before they’re a senior you have to question them. NFL aren’t developing QBs at all and top college QBs can earn a ridiculous amount a year now. They should all play as much in college as they can before entering the draft.

Players like Simpson, I have a big red flag next to them with the lack of snaps he’s played.

Marcus from Tape don’t lie did a breakdown, and QBs with less then 1000 college snaps have a ridiculously high bust rate in the NFL

Can’t see Titans winning a game and they have the tie break against us, so it’s going to be very difficult

Titans having the #1 pick is better than the Jets or Saints having it.

We just need the Titans to buy into Cam Ward for another six months.

I think we’ll either end up with the 1st pick and select Mendoza or we’ll be sitting at at 4-5 and have to pick a QB later in the draft. I know, a true Nostradamus here

I'm not in love with any of em. Mendoza would be my first choice. First thing's first they need to trash every coach on the offensvie side of the ball. I want none of them being even remotley close to a young QB.

Can the new OC put enough pressure on Carroll to play Rogers and Grant to see what they can do on the O-line? The Raiders draft strategy will depend on what they have in-house on the O-line.

Yeah, but why would he do things that benefit the teams’ future rather his “legacy”.

In other news Carroll names Geno and Cappa MVP’s for the 2025 Raiders.

Right. And we have no idea what the rooks could do on the o-line because they've not been played.

If they played it could only go two ways:

1. They suck and the offensive line is still terrible.

2. They're better than the slugs out there now.

If #2 ended up being the result they would have egg on their face for not playing them sooner.

That wouldn't be all bad. We don't have the O-line to support a rookie QB right now. It would also force us to draft the BPA for O-line, or if we could find a trade-down partner, we could pick up two highly ranked OL.

I can imagine what a rook QB would have looked like on this team this year. The kid would need treatment for PTSD while simultaneously going through rehab for multiple broken bones.
