Tonight’s match up is the Packers hosting Washington.

The answer to part of that is yes Maye is light years better than Carr

Josh McDaniels may be the best example in history of great coordinator but absolutely awful head coach. He needs to OC under an alpha / leader head coach like Belichek or Vrabel

Patriot coaches only succeed with the Patriots. It's a strange dynamic.

Fields looked better, but then again, he set his own bar so damn low to begin with.

I was one of them. Buddy of mine has been a life long Titans fan and nicknamed him "Slackjaw Vrable" because of his look on the sidelines every game when botching in game decisions lol.

Hes off to a great start in NE for sure but that doesnt mean he would have had success here at all. Even had the Raiders made him an offer, Id bet he was only going to NE because of his history there so its a moot point IMO

Well the Patriots drafted a 1st round QB and developed him. Something the Raiders refuse to do.

I don't think he would have chosen the Raiders over the Pats because of his history with NE and Kraft but clearly he was the best coach available in the offseason. Also I agree he wouldn't have had the same level of success here because of the QB situation but I think the team would be .500 or close as he has experience winning with below average QB play and mid level rosters. Just take a look at his 12 win Titans roster as it's pretty mid roster save for AJ Brown and Henry. He's definitely a guy that can coach up a greater sum from lesser parts which is something this organization hasn't had for a long time.

I didn't want Vrabel and still don't. He's a glorified AP.

Maye is the reason for that team's success.

Vrabel is a leader, knows his stuff and can in fact coach unlike AP. He knows enough to get out of the way of the offense. While I did not want him, he has been a good coach, not great, in this league. His failings at Tennessee are not because of his decisions, they are the direct result of Amy Adams
