Trading Jacoby was the right thing to do, but I don't hold much hope for our 2nd round holdout pick at this time. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks are supposed to produce in their first season, but this guy's done jackshit.
not always, and receivers tend to take a bit to really flourish.

A 2nd round receiver should be able to at least show flashes. He hasn't even been able to make it out onto the field. He was supposed to be a solid hands + good blocker type of WR, but he has only has 7 more catches and 73 more yards than I do.

he was pushed back by Jakobi's production, which was also pushed back by Geno' s struggles. I did see a couple nice blocks by Bech that have gotten some extra yards for Jeanty. But we need to see what the staff does now that the slot has opened up.

All that matters is how Bech looks at the end of the season. It’s all about setting things up for 2026. He’s got half a season to establish himself.

He's a relatively high second round pick. They'll stick with him for a good three seasons even if it becomes apparent he isn't up to the job. I hope the guy starts tearing it up, but the early returns aren't encouraging.

I've wondered if maybe he has a nagging injury that's preventing him from seeing more playing time, but I haven't heard that.

Someone else said that Meyers' play was keeping him off the field and I can believe there's truth to that. Whatever the case, we will find out.

Bech has indeed been disappointing. I think Thornton can still develop into a nice #3 which is fine for a 4th round pick but Bech seems unlikely to live up his 2nd round pick status.

My how the mighty have fallen
Should have kept Chaisson along with Koonce.....Hopefully Koonce just needs time, coming off a serious injury sometimes production doesn't happen right away.

I wish we'd have signed Meyers to a contract like this last offseason.

I agree. He has been great for the Jags. We might have gotten him signed for less than that.
