win/win trade. salute to jakobi, he was the best #2 wr the raiders have had for a long time, from all accounts, was a good teammate, did his job. too bad things did not work out for devante at the x, the two would have been a nice combo.

now let's see what bech can do. i thought he was a panic pick in r2, hoping he proves me [us] all wrong. get him some rotation time.

same with thornton, some time in the weight room and work him into the rotation as the year goes so the team can see what they have with regard to the wr room. it should be a qb and all ol/dl draft for the raiders next season so time to see what you've got.

Teams will be really loading the box now daring the Raiders to throw.

Yes the 2 tight-end offense will do well for us. The last time the Raiders featured that was in 1979 when they had Dave Casper and Raymond Chester. Both excellent tight ends.

The Saints got a better return for a worse receiver in Shaheed. But I knew we would never get a 3rd like many were thinking for Jakobi so whatever.
What? Shaheen is twice the WR Meyers is.

Yea he's so good you can't even get his name right

Jakobi- 98 games played, 426 receptions for 4944 yards and 20 TDs

Shaheed- 42 games played, 138 receptions for 2055 yards and 12 TDs

In what universe is Shaheed twice the receiver that Meyers is? I'll wait...

The best pick between Jaguars or Vikings 4rd likely is going to be better than the Seahawks pick.

Jaguars take $5,370,000 salary

Seahawks take $2,100,000 salary

Highly doubt that; maybe if Bower was still injured but he is back and if teams start stacking the box; he be just one catch from getting a TD or two

yep, as long as Bowers is out there they have to respect the middle of the field and when he lines up in the slot. That first TD he had was a gem and teams know he can get to the next level.

Hopefully Bowers might open it up for the other
wr,s to get some plays in….I have kinda given up on the raiders doing anything this season…but it is the time to give rookies some playing time for rest of season and see where they can go from there….

I think you play them as they show they can master the game, some guys learn better from the sidelines. Others with reps.

Bech plays in the slot so he should get more reps, but who knows if he can take advantage.

raiderkoch wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 9:48 amAnother note, Bech was supposedly much like Jakobi and blocks and does the dirty work, so maybe, just maybe that is why we are here. IF he pans out then the optics become much better on this to me.
I wanted to talk about Bech too. He's been as invisible as a second round pick could be. It looks like he has 7 catches for 73 yards through nine games.

Trading Jacoby was the right thing to do, but I don't hold much hope for our 2nd round holdout pick at this time. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks are supposed to produce in their first season, but this guy's done jackshit.
