We sure as hell better be in the QB market come draft time, regardless of which QB is playing or not! :grimmace:

 You're bogus as hell. Just because you mastered the art of 'coach speak' doesn't make you intelligent.

"Hey guys, I think if we spend a top 5 pick on QB we can be a better team!"

 No shit! You're the Raiderstation version of Dr. Phil.

 The fact they remember every. little. thing. I post that they think I'm wrong about (I'm not), but then conveniently ignore the grand majority of the times I've hit it out the park (AP, Minshew, Jacobs, Ellis, Mack, Cooper) should tell you everything you need to know about who I'm dealing with.

 I especially love the gaslighting. 'He's never right about ANYTHING', 'he's just a troll', ect. Yet I was the only person stating (correctly) that Minshew was trash day one and our season last year would be lost.

 That literally happened just last year yet these groupies claim I've never been right about anything.

 But their memory is incredible from something I stated 4 years ago.

No, AOC's flaw is that he plays on the worst team in the NFL, and in spite of that, he gives that team twice as good a chance to win every Sunday.

 Geno Smith is a starter. AOC is better than Geno Smith, but AOC isn't a starter. Make it make sense.
It appears someone f[raiders_icon]cked you and you got pissed.

You went from Aidan is elite to he is better than Geno

You really are a troll, that or you know shit about football. And you were not the only one down on Minshew. It must be hell in your head. I have rarely seen someone so desperate to be right. Please note that almost without exception the claims that you are right are at times when you were expressing subjective comments. Subjective cannot, by definition, be right or wrong.

It’s plenty obvious when someone knows football, and “said poster “ knows his share. It’s also painfully obvious he posts his opinions knowing the fact it will require a response from other certain posters. They simply cannot help themselves.

By cherry picking stats, game situations and really anything favorable to his posts, he is usually accurate. We all do it to an extent, but I’ve never seen one poster put out an opinion and know who will respond and more importantly, how they will. It’s baffling to me they don’t see it in advance.

I don’t believe he’s a troll, but instead, sees an opportunity to find his scenarios and back them up with stats that literally anyone can put out, smiling big as he types, all the while knowing it will rattle some cages.

He knows deep down AOC isn’t a starting Qb in this league. He’s playing the game of emotion, and I’ll bet he’s smiling right now reading this.

See, I read this stuff sometimes after he comes up with yet another bullshit post and someone responds putting that bullshit to rest. Unfortunately, history shows he actually believes the stuff he writes is true. He will be doubling down on it later. He really does believe Aidan is starter quality just like he believes Lynch was not a good RB. You saw the list of his claims that he was "right" about. There is a serious reason the site owner has called him "the worst poster on the site ever" and it is a label I believe to be true and we have had a lot of bad posters around here.

So you may think he is pushing buttons to get a response (often called a troll) but I believe he actually buys into his posts 100%. And that is just a little sad when you think about it given his content.

But doubling down doesn’t make him a believer. It’s an act to warrant a response to a stat he’s posting to “prove “ his belief. It has absolutely nothing to do with football knowledge, which I’ve already stated I believe he has plenty of. So do you, as well as most posters on here.

I’m simply stating a fact. He wants a response knowing full well that you cannot refrain from giving one. I also believe he likes the insults and disparaging comments because in his mind, he’s still smiling.

He knows AOC is not the answer to our decades of misery, just like the rest of us.

 In fact, you were the one who argued the hardest against my position that Minshew was trash.

My exact words were, 'AP hitching his wagon to Minshew will be his undoing'. A proclamation that was proven to be objective. That's just one of the many examples.

Engaging in normal banter is fine, but I never state anything on here with the mindset of, "They're going to go crazy after I post this!".

Naw, AOC is by far the best QB on the team. I really believe that.

I also really believe he should have been the starter this whole time.

Another bullshit post. You were not the only one down on MInshew. And my argument for getting him had nothing to do with production but rather he was a guy who enjoyed the game. I never said anything about what he would do if he became a Raider. And I never engaged with you directly regarding him. Prove me wrong. You won't because you can't.

And no, you thinking Pierce was fired for playing Minshew is an opinion. Period. The fact that Pierce was fired has nothing to do with it. Pierce was fired for a ton of reasons, not just one thing. You can make a claim that it was O'Connell was the reason. He only won 2 games. See, I expressed an opinion. That is how it works. The fact is he won 2 games. The opinion is that is the reason Pierce was fired. Duh. Language skills for the win.

As for O'Connell, you claimed he was elite just last year, and yet he is third on the depth chart.

O'Connell back in the lineup. Seems he could be put in to get this team a spark.

Pete gonna keep playing Geno until it "turns around" though.

Being the best Qb on the team or should have been the starter this whole time is quite different from being the answer to decades of futility. He will not, can not steer this team to a championship.

And yes, you do get some satisfaction from responses. But again - just my opinion. But my first point is a fact.

He will be lucky to be on this team the remainder of his rookie contract.

No other team in the league would want any of our QB's that's why they are Raiders!!

They wouldnt want any of them to start unless it was gig jobs like Flacco always has.

If AOC was the designated starter from week 1 all the way through, Pierce would still have a job because we would have floated around .500.

I believe he can. A rookie QB who rallies a team to an 8-9 record is rare. He should have been given the chance to prove himself. To reiterate Drew Brees', point, he needs about 20-25 more starts before anyone can say he's not the guy. The sample size we have thus far, suggests that he is.
He will be lucky to be on this team the remainder of his rookie contract.
If we draft a QB with equal or greater potential, I'm fine with that. Any other scenario where he walks would be a mistake.

Tom Brady would have a hard time following AOC trajectory his first few years with the Raiders.
