Tyler Lockett expected to sign today
I wasn’t happy with McDaniels turning Vegas into New England 2.0, Carroll and the GM making this Seattle 2.0

apparently this will destroy the development of a couple guys on the roster.
I have my doubts

I suppose it’s possible that they’re thinking of the development of the young guys with this signing.Attyla wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 3:59 pm apparently this will destroy the development of a couple guys on the roster.

Could be the two rookies aren't close to being ready to handle extensive playing time right now. They also signed Cooper for a reason. Or it could be Pete being stuck in his old ways and prefer playing vets over young guys?Attyla wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 3:59 pm apparently this will destroy the development of a couple guys on the roster.

Give it a chance fellas, remember Jerry Rice was in his late 30's when we signed him. Lockett is only 33.
Wait, Rice was the ageless GOAT, and we are talking Tyler f[raiders_icon]cking Lockett, never mind...

No, we are accepting that Carroll has decision making final say on personnel, and we are hating it.

People who think this is just a depth signing is delusional.

Well there was a 6 year span where he averaged over 1000 yards a season so “forcing” him the ball seems to have worked for them. He’s clearly not that guy anymore and he’s not about to become wr1 in Vegas.mranquales wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 9:46 pmYou're asinine you don't think a QB who averages 1+ interceptions per game isn't going to force feed Tyler Lockett the ball. Anyone who paid attention to Geno Smith's Seattle tenure, knows this to be true.
Anyone who thinks this is just a depth signing is delusional.
