What changes should Pete and staff make during the bye?

I think Geno is cooked and if O'Connell is ready he should be starting. Geno is not some newly drafted 1st round pick going through growing pains. Maybe, O'Connell can give the team a spark.

Try adjusting the O-line a bit but I'm sure the coaches think they're playing the best combo of players in that group. Worth trying something new?

Or maybe we can earn get out of jail free cards that reduce your sentence by a certain amount. Make the cards hard to get, like how often your posts get a hands up? So your content that is positively received earns you a point per time and after 100 points you get a reduction of sentence of like 10% and they can be stacked. That card might max at 80% so you still get dinged but you are actually encouraged to produce positive content. Pavlov would be pleased. And if you max out your card, you can start earning a second one!

People are finally seeing the effects of pissing away 5 first rd picks, horrible trades and free agents signings and firing coaches every other year. The past few hires Mark has made, he's clearly given the hc more control than the gm. It seems he may have done it again with this hire. Hire a GM, get the fck out of the building and let the GM do his fcking job. It's not really hard concept.

The one common denominator in this is Mark himself. Im not really sure why people are saying to get rid of this regime already & start over. It's what Mark has been doing for the past decade. Now don't get me wrong, there should be some staff changes but clearing house again isn't the right answer. Until Mark either sells or completely steps aside, this organization will continue to be rudderless

I agree, but I think PC needs to be gone. He's too old and he isn't going to be here long enough to get things fixed... if he even can... and I don't think he can from what I've seen.

Find a young, hungry coach that will embrace the challenge. Give him 5 years guanteed to do his thing. Let Spytek build the team and have control over the players and staff, including hiring the young, hungry coach. That all hinges on Mark staying out of it completely other than signing checks.
