Dorothy and friends needed the Wizard to give them brains, heart, and courage. Raiders will need all three to get the win today.

I'm gonna be honest with you....... I didn't hate the Jeanty pick, but I really wanted Cam Skattebo. That dude is a human wrecking ball. His attitude and the way he approaches the game............. old school Raiders.Raider_Dave wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 11:54 am I don't see anything great about Jeanty. I know the line sucks, but great RBs make people miss even if the line sucks. He hasn't made a lot of people miss. Haven't seen anything that made me say wow.

Spot on.Spurs Raider wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 1:03 pm The O Line is horrifically porous and quite obviously we are missing Bowers hugely - any team would.
Mentally we look weak and Geno is no leader of men out on that field so Carroll has some big decisions to make between now and the Jags game

.397 winning percentage since 2000. I would say this a large enough sample size to justify your post.Willmark wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 12:59 pm I’ve been looking at that very thing over the last few weeks. Based on the stats it’s nearly unheard of for a franchise to be this bad decade after decade.

Genos body language after his last throw looked like he is done. His chin was hitting his sternum

Huh???Dr Death wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 1:10 pm Like I said, this game hinged on nothing at the time you posted..... it was over. Our players are marginally to blame; the biggest factor is coaching and play calling... IMO.
I wrote repeatedly the offense is so horrific that Geno can't even seem to get the snap right. The offense stinks. That is our #1 problem right now. We entered this week with 17 points per game (that number went down. lol?) and with our "QB" the #1 leader in INT's! You simply can not expect any defense, much less ours, to be out on the field all day long.
Our "offense" today: 96 total yards, 3 (as in THREE) 1st downs and 0-7 on first down against a middle of the pack defense. Mahomes doesn't play offense.

I’m pretty much done with this entire coaching staff! Carroll has lost his mojo, can’t stand Graham, offensive line coach is over his head and I’m not sure about Kelly!!
Graham hasn’t improved one player in years! Can’t tell if Kelly is a great college coordinator or he currently doesn’t have the necessary talent on the offensive side of the ball

AJ Cole had a nice game. It's pretty f[raiders_icon]cking bad when your place kicker never has to take off his baseball cap.

Maybe I read your original post wrong? You said at the the time "this game hinges on"............... I said it hinged on nothing ...at that time.... it was over.16 to 88 wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 1:30 pm Huh???

Not that we have any business beating the chiefs just based on how much better their roster is than ours… but we’re accomplishing things that even bad teams shouldn’t be able to do. Like running 30 offensive plays in a game… 3 first downs in 60 minutes and a 0% 3rd down conversion percentage… that’s not a talent issue (even though we do have a talent issue). That’s a “our players don’t want to be here” issue.16 to 88 wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 1:30 pm Huh???

As much as Geno sucks too… it’s hard to really isolate him as the problem. It’s all a problem.

Some tough decisions ahead for Spytek. All due respect to Pete but he's not looking like the one to fix this mess. This team is not a high-priced aging QB away from competing and there's still holes everywhere on the roster. Can't move forward until they get realistic with how they stack up.
