On to Kansas City
Maybe we get the benefit of a few extra flags against KC next week to kill “ the league wants KC to win” narrative.

With all due respect, the NFL doesn't give a shit about Raider fans. I see us getting curb stomped this game. We have no pass rush except for Maxx and they will gameplan for him. Mahomes will take his second read which is looking for a gap in the defensive line, run through it, extend the play, and either find a receiver or run. That's his M.O. and we just don't have the pass rush to take that away. The defense will be on the field all game and gasses by the 4th quarter.ALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 4:23 pm NFL wants a close AFC West matchup. The league is more profitable when the Raiders are relevant. Historical rivalries such as the Steelers and Chefs gain more notoriety and more importantly, viewership. It's a profit driven league and it all the NFL cares about, even if sometimes at the expense of the product on the field.Oaktownonly wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 6:20 pm With all due respect, the NFL doesn't give a shit about Raider fans. It's business.
Commercial's that turn my 72" flat screen into a 52" screen because league think's it needs to squeeze commercials between the commercial breaks. Fan Dual, Fantasy Football.
We are talking billions.

I'm not sure it's logical to assume the money favored GB - they were -450, so someone would have to risk $450 to win $100, which is not a super attractive bet, at least to casual bettors. Moneyline bets, in general, seem less attractive to me because it's easier to see how the odds are stacked against you. Moneylines will also move based on betting.riseNraid09 wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 4:51 pm I mean, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Even if the figure isn't correct, it's logical to assume that the money bet via moneyline heavily favored GB. Regardless, I still believe it's foolish to assume that these book makers and the NFL operate with complete integrity and don't try to take advantage of situations that would ultimately result in pocketing more money... they all benefit. There's simply too much money involved, and greed is very real. I don't see how that is seen as a crazy concept.
Anyway, that is the last I will say on the matter... I like to throw in a different perspective every now and then. Nothing wrong with challenging people to look at things differently.
To be clear, I'm not trying to be argumentative here, just interested in the discussion.

If a star player has an injury that sidelines him for over a month, he never should have been playing in the first place.
Terrible coaching decision.

it is not just a coaching decision, if a player gets signed off on by the doctors and he wants to play, that is a lot of why he plays.mranquales wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 11:18 pm If a star player has an injury that sidelines him for over a month, he never should have been playing in the first place.

With Kyu out there I’m thinking Rice gets 200 and 3 TDs so the media can talk all week about how the Chiefs are gonna be unstoppable now.
Has there ever been a less likable “Dynasty” than the Chiefs? So many Dbags on that team.
