On to Kansas City
Maybe we get the benefit of a few extra flags against KC next week to kill “ the league wants KC to win” narrative.

Excerpt from article in link:
According to an ESPN report, the Raiders appear open to trading Meyers ahead of the November 4 deadline. Jeremy Fowler had the report.
Teams I've spoken to believe the Raiders are open to trading wide receiver Jakobi Meyers but are not actively trying to move him. The sense is the Raiders would prefer to play out the season before making major determinations about the roster. But Meyers requested a trade in the preseason, so a potential deal feels at least on the table.
A few things about this -- Meyers is in the final year of his current deal. Which is the reason Jakobi requested a trade because he didn't want to play on a one-year deal and the Raiders were balking at giving Meyers an extension. This means, if they do play out the season, they would either have to re-sign him or just watch him leave without getting anything in return.
The Raiders didn't give in to his trade request in part because they had high expectations for the team this season. Expectations they have not lived up to as they sit at 2-4 and headed for Arrowhead this week. Should they drop that one, they'd be 2-5 and staring at a strong possibility of another lost season. That changes things in terms of their willingness to make a deal to send away their top receiver.

And the plot thickens..
Raiders are 2-0 all-time with Clete Blakeman as the ref at Arrowhead. They won on Christmas in 2023 and in 2020

I assume this season will be Kelce's last. His contract is up and he's engaged to the most famous musical artist in the world (whose wealth makes his look like a rounding error). And good for him, I might add.

NFL wants a close AFC West matchup. They need Raider fans tuning in and not golfing

I mean, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Even if the figure isn't correct, it's logical to assume that the money bet via moneyline heavily favored GB. Regardless, I still believe it's foolish to assume that these book makers and the NFL operate with complete integrity and don't try to take advantage of situations that would ultimately result in pocketing more money... they all benefit. There's simply too much money involved, and greed is very real. I don't see how that is seen as a crazy concept.srv5490 wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 10:13 pm My Google search turned up numerous sources saying that this is an untrue internet rumor.
Anyway, that is the last I will say on the matter... I like to throw in a different perspective every now and then. Nothing wrong with challenging people to look at things differently.
