I would, especially if his productivity has not increased

Unfortunately his productivity is tied to the garbage can we have throwing him the ball.

They are 2-4 but trading their top WR would be waiving the white flag before the halfway mark of the season which is kind of at odds with what they said they wanted to do this season. If the return is only a 5th round pick they would be much better off holding on to him as it’s going to make things that much harder on Smith or whomever is the QB to have Tucker,Thornton, and Bech as the WR’s.

I disagree with this. We drafted his replacement. I think they'd consider it even if they had a winning record. And can we even consider Jacobi our top WR? Bc statistically he's not this year.

Tucker is now the better receiver IMO. Meyers doesnt create much separation and Geno isnt good enough to fit it in those tight windows. Meyers needs someone who can get him the ball in those tight spaces because he does have great hands.

I think he is doing worse this year than last when he had even worse garbage throwing him the ball, and as bad as the play calling has been it was even worse last year. He has never been a TD guy but he has a donut in that dept this year.

He rates high among some of our fans because we have almost nobody else other than Bowers.

Meyers did well when he was an afterthought behind Bowers and Devante Adams last year.

The Raiders are finally doing what everyone is complaining about-- letting the young guys play. The potential of Bech and Thornton outweighs the current value of Meyers.

Wouldn’t there be a comp pick if he played the season out and left?

We have Bech and Thornton... might as well baptize them in the fire and see what comes of it. It isn't like we have anything to lose.

If we arent going to use him then we may as well get rid of him. I dont know what we are trying to do on offense, besides failing to be successful.

LayneStaley wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 10:51 am So Tucker and Bech would be our top WRs. That’s gotta be the worst starting 2 in the league. I know Bowers is the guy but I’m talking about just WRs.
Tucker is actually developed into a solid slot and #2 option. It would help to have Bowers at 100% and then Tucker could elevate to #1. Without Bowers and Jakobi however a good DC will neutralize Tuckers contribution. That said, Michael Meyer is no slouch

Right now, all that these guys are doing is running wind sprints with Geno at QB. They could be wide open and he wouldn't see them.

Jakobi Myers = Chaz Schilens.

I think Tre has way more potential and Bech needs to get more targets.
