Raiders are top 10 against the run. 12th overall.

After six weeks it's safe to say our defense is good enough for us to win. If we have decent QB play, no doubt the Raiders are a .500 team. It's unfortunate that we inherited the worst version of an already middling quarterback.

Geno Smith admitted in his last presser that Micheal Mayer and Bowers are his "security blankets". Not having a 100% Bowers has been more of a detriment than we realized.

You're right. Lots of calls get missed, called by mistake, etc., every game day. The "ref didn't call it right" excuse is lame. And then you see play after play after play where there was no call on Chiefs, or ticky-tacky calls on their opponent. It makes people wonder--even people who are not inclined to blame refs for Ws and Ls.

I've been a fan of this team for 58 years. I seldom say anything about bias against the Raiders. I really don't want to now.......... but, anyone with eyes can see there is a bias against the Raiders in the NFL... at least there is a strong appearance of that being so. In the past, they were good enough to overcome it; now.................

Didn't we read sometime in the last year or so one of the refs (I guess he had retired so could speak freely?) talked about how before his first Raider game one of the other refs said something like "here we go with Raider week?"
