Ugly win.
Basically scored 13 points if not for the turnover at the 2-yard line.

I know it is the Titans and I know they are not good but our defense played some lights out ball.
Jeanty running from QB gun formation, sucks
Jeanty running from QB under center, magic.
I am willing to bet he had over 5 YPC from QB under center but the gun is killing his YPC.

Also, good game from Devin White. Not bad for a guy who is cooked. Graham schemed a helluva game for White

Hate to be Mr Piss Cheerios, but I’m not excited about this win at all. The defense played well … against an offense that hasn’t been able to do anything all year. And the offense looked meh, again. Nothing about this win makes me feel like we will continue the momentum into next week or it will right the ship, just that we beat one of the few teams that is worse than us.
If we find a way to beat KC next week, I’ll be all aboard to Koolaid train. Then, no matter how ugly, we can talk about “a wins a win”. But for the Titans game, it feels more like “a win is a worse draft pick”

I doubt we win next week, game is in KC and that place will be lit up. But if we play well and lose, while it is still a loss and losing sucks I will be OK with it. Not happy but the goal is to play well with the talent level we have. f[raiders_icon]cking Gruden and McDaniel left the cupboard bare, and f[raiders_icon]cking Pierce did not help although Bowers fell into our lap.Raiders Baby wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 5:44 am Hate to be Mr Piss Cheerios, but I’m not excited about this win at all. I decided to look into it. Pretty easy using ESPNs play by play. It says if formation was shotgun or not.Attyla wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 5:27 am I know it is the Titans and I know they are not good but our defense played some lights out ball.

AJ 23 - 75
UC 18-61-3.38 ypc.
SG 5-14-2.8 ypc
Of note his first 4 runs from under center totaled 32 yards. I think the lack of deep balls hindered the run the rest of the way.

Splits were closer than I thought. But the YPC really favor under center. And he got a couple stuffs from under center if I remember correctly. But the eye test really does say we need to be under center way way more. Geno can do that and he rarely has an issue under center.Raidernation1979 wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 6:20 am I decided to look into it. Pretty easy using ESPNs play by play. You’re forgetting Grimmace too. Ziegler was bragging to a Vegas reporter about Tre Tucker though. So basically Mark’s former GM’s are on the worse team in the league. NiceCorleone wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 6:46 am The Titans might be the worst team I've ever seen on a football field.

He defended Geno on his interception too. This bromance crap is getting old. I don’t know who’s worse, Mark’s man crush for Brady, or Pete’s for Genorich72 wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 7:41 pm Pete Carrol was acting like they ran a well oiled machine on offense today.

Absolutely agree. We are better under center. Like I said the early numbers were very good on center. As the game went on it got worse, but I believe that’s because we didn’t keep them honest by going deep if you don’t throw the ball behind 10 yards the defense just stays sucked up and you can’t get anything done.Attyla wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 6:30 am Splits were closer than I thought. Noticed Bo Hardegree is their OC. Did not make much of a difference.
Reggie McKenzie fired by the Dolphins, hired by the Titans 5 days later.
Dave Ziegler Assistant GM
Lots of former Raiders in that building.

I couldn’t watch the game but was listening on the radio. Was Genos INT the result of getting hit as he delivered the ball or was it another horrible throw?
