I’m done

Unread post by AdamJoshua28 »

I have been a follower of this team since the 1960s. Watched some amazing teams. Those Monday nights where we were unbeatable. Amazing teams, and amazing wins.

We haven’t done shit for over 20 years. This is the biggest joke in the f[raiders_icon]cking league. I lived in Boston for 18 years through the Patriots being basically Super Bowl contenders every year and everyone asked me why don’t just change teams I said some Raiders fan we don’t change teams.

Well, I’m not changing teams, but I see no point in watching this shit anymore, does this ruin the day for you already? The text are coming in from my friends same thing every week every month every year

All I can say is, I’m glad the NHL is back

Good luck gentlemen maybe I’ll come back after that shithead piece of crap that owns the team sells it but until then I’m done with this f[raiders_icon]cking team. I wasted too much of my f[raiders_icon]cking life worrying about these f[raiders_icon]cking crap players. Bullshit coaches bullshit moves.

f[raiders_icon]ck them and f[raiders_icon]ck Mark Davis

You don’t have to bother to reply you can delete this really don’t care logging out now. Maybe I’ll be back in a few years after the team is sold.

Being a fan is great, letting it sink you into a depression that makes you neglect things that matter is a problem.
Were you at the 2006 game in Seattle when Walter was sacked 9 times I the torrential rain? I have never been so cold in my life. The hot buttered rum in my thermos helped in keeping me comfortably numb.

I usually have a good experience at Seahawks-Raiders game because the older fans miss the rivalry.

Love you so much fellow long time Raider brothers.

Not much time left for some of us to see another championship.

Likewise! Fan since about '74. Tired of living on past glory, tired of defending myself to people as to "WHY"! Tired of talking about past players and games and stars who people don't even remember. I'll get scores from here out on the 11PM news, other than that good luck to you all!

LOL......Andrew Walter?! Now there is a trivia question answer! Of course we have many others too..: Arron Brooks, Daunte Culpepper, Jeff George, Kerry Collins, Donald Hollas, Terrell Pryor....These would all be under the category of "Where do washed up NFL QB's go to collect one last paycheck"?

Wasn’t there, last Hawks/Raiders game I was at was in Oakland, 2010 Halloween game and it was a lot of fun. My last time in the real Black Hole and we stomped them by 30.

This adds some perspective. Keep in mind the Vikings won this game. Burnsy was an all timer-Rich Gannon's first NFL head coach.

no we watch the Raiders and hope they win. Just because they lose does not mean that is why we continue to lose.

Now, there are fans who hope we lose so they can bitch but that is its own mental illness

It typically takes a coach 2-3 years to get his system installed and be successful. I know Pete says he wants win now but more than 8 games was a longshot. Gruden, even with his piss poor drafting had the team in playoff contention in his 3rd year. Grudens 1st year was ladened by brutal losses and blowouts. JDR was 8-8 in his first year and 12-4 in his 2nd year.

One difference is age of Carrol, we already know hes got about 3 years tops, maybe 4 and possibly 5 depending on health. I think there is already a transition plan in place or a list of possible options knowing Carrol will need to be replaced. The next coach was to be more of a hand off rather than a replacement of a fired coach. With that said, you can't fire Carrol, we need to make this work-- he doesn't want to replace Geno because that's his guy but at some point, a tough decision will have to be made. He's just not seeing the field right now and making bad decisions.

As far as Mark, he fired JDR which was questionable, hired McDaniels after Gruden email debacle, which was a terrible mistake, and then caved into letting AP take the reigns when he had no real HC experience..Marks not selling the team anytime soon however so you might as well go buy another jersey.

can we get pete to show some of this passion at his presser? other than 'we need to do better as a team'
