This team, especially Geno, died the moment he hurt his knee.BoKnows81 wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 5:21 pm Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) did not practice on Thursday.
It is time to make backup plans. Bowers practiced in full last week. He worryingly kicked off Week 5 with a limited session and was unable to practice at all today. No setbacks have been reported. One wonders if he indeed suffered one, though technically this could be precautionary. Raiders backup TE Michael Mayer (concussion) remains limited. Both players are on the wrong side of questionable for Week 5 against the Colts.

And what about Max? His knee again? Damn, maybe we should trade him while he has value, cuz it looks like he is wearing down rapidly.

This is why you sit your best player in the beginning when the injury was minor. Now it's lingering and he could have reaggravated it to something more serious.
We're 1-3 anyway. A 100% healthy Bowers probably beats the Bears. If we lose to the Colts and Bowers doesn't play, that could be a major reason why.
We really need Micheal Mayer to break out.

IMO It’s time to sit Brock, think it was stupid to play him injured anyway. Why risk his future, sit him till he doesn’t need the brace.

Unfortunately our HC is not only up there in years, he rode that “winning record” rhetoric pretty hard leading into the season. He’s not even looking as far as next year.LayneStaley wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 6:16 pm IMO It’s time to sit Brock, think it was stupid to play him injured anyway. It’s resulting in shit like Cappa over JPJ, Mayer on ST, Bowers playing while hurt, and Geno going for the INT record without a care in the world. Not good.

My nephew plays RG for the Colts so excuse me if I root for Indy a bit or at least Matt.
Best for him if the Colts have a winning record and the owners keep the coaching staff together as this is year 2 for him as a starter.
Oh and the Raiders have zero in this game. They getting blown out.

That’s cool, having a nephew playing in the NFL. I have family who use to watch the Reds play in Riverfront stadium and occasionally flush the toilets after using them.KillerRaider30 wrote: Fri Oct 03, 2025 5:59 am My nephew plays RG for the Colts so excuse me if I root for Indy a bit or at least Matt.

We are winning this game Sunday. 27 to 24. 27 to 17 with a few mins left and Indy gets a TD that doesn't matter. 2 and 3 baby.
