Meanwhile, we decided to hire Depends, trade for and extend his 34-year-old boy toy, not beef up the O-Line and let Depends' Nepo Baby run it, and draft a slot WR in the second round who barely plays.

We hired a coach who has won at every level. That is who we hired. Go back and look at his year to year record. And he is probably the reason we traded for Smith and I do not deny that is likely the case.

The game gets away from everyone at some point, but Pete is a good coach, he just does not have a line yet and Geno is pressing, and that needs to be coached up

Carroll wanted Geno because he runs whatever Carroll says. The Russ Wilson-Pete relationship soured over Wilson wanting a larger say. As for Geno, there isn't much to coach up. That 2022 season was a fluke. The other seasons are the real Geno - a middling starter who thinks his arm is better than what it is.

we can agree to disagree, I watched the tape from camp and I saw a very active and sharp guy out there. as for Smith, he is pressing and it is costing us. That can be coached up but Smith needs to make better decisions.

As for the one's who we did not hire? Who knows what went down during the interview process. I am not a guy who cares overly about the guys we pass up, I care about the guy in the building
