Lmao no. The Colts have been one of the better teams this season. Their game vs the Rams was a great display of two competitive organizations littered with talent and competent coaches going at it.
We will get smashed.
We will get smashed.

Raiders got the running game untracked because they were playing the Bears porous run defense. Bet it goes back to normal vs the Colts.

I know all the talk is about the OL. However, what the Raiders need is a #1 WR. Until then, we will not be able to compete.
We couldn't beat a hobbled Washington team, and we couldn't beat a lowly Bears team; no way we beat the Colts, who are the second-best team on our schedule so far.

Until the O line is at least competent, no other skill player/s will make a difference.mranquales wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 6:50 pm I know all the talk is about the OL. However, what the Raiders need is a #1 WR. Until then, we will not be able to compete.

If the O-line shows up like it did today, we have a chance. Not turning it over four times will help too.

I wonder if the OL looked better against a porous Bears DL? That’s my fear.Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 6:56 pm If the O-line shows up like it did today, we have a chance. Not turning it over four times will help too.

The o line wasn’t to blame today. Today really falls on Geno, chip and special teams

Same here. It does seem like too quick of a turnaround after three solid weeks of awful.Oaktown Superman wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 6:57 pm I wonder if the OL looked better against a porous Bears DL? That’s my fear.
Maybe they did turn a corner, maybe they didn't. We'll find out next Sunday.

What exactly would we upgrade on OL?Dr Death wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 6:53 pm Until the O line is at least competent, no other skill player/s will make a difference.
Kolton Miller? Nope.
JPJ? Nope. He's an all-pro level (talent) at C/RG who's only 22.
If you want to replace Merdith at C, good luck, Chip Kelly thinks he's Jason Kelce, so not happening.
Replace Parham? Fine, except Parham was the key blocker who sprung Jeanty on all of our big runs.
Replace DJ Glaze? Why? What makes you sure a rookie RT is going to upgrade a decent tackle with 3 years (by then) experience?
It would make much more sense to draft an elite WR prospect and a project QB. That would put us much further along the path of being competitive.

They seemed to have gotten it together somewhat after Jeanty started gashing the Bears. We had a combined 240 yards rushing to the Bears 69. The defense played decent enough.Raidernation1979 wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 7:09 pm The o line wasn’t to blame today. Today really falls on Geno, chip and special teams
Turnovers and special teams gafes did us in today.
