On to the Bears
That was a game to forget in DC but we return home again a team that won’t have a few days in us to prepare.
Maybe that will help.

We can thank this dumb staff for putting Mayer on kickoff returns and causing this.

you being wrong is a cottage industrymranquales wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 2:59 pmBackups are always one play away from being starters. Ask the Bengals and the Vikings.
Not "game ready", yet he's there on game day ready to come in as needed? BULLSHIT!
If it's about health, why is he "competing" for a starting spot with Cappa, when he was the STARTER week one? Why would a player that won the starting spot in preseason need to split time with the depth chart backup? Remember, Pete Carrol said this AFTER it was established JPJ is fully healthy. Clearly Pete Carroll is bias, and he's constantly dancing in every press conference trying to justify that bias.
Chip Kelly did a better job of cleaning up Pete's mess with much more concise answers. If you believe that Merdith is the next Jason Kelce (he isn't), that's one thing. Meredith is at least statistically decent. It's another when you have the worse guards in the league (by all metrics) playing over you.

We thought we were getting a better management group/coaching team; we were wrong. Terribly wrong.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 3:30 pm We can thank this dumb staff for putting Mayer on kickoff returns and causing this.

Give it half a season. Way too early to say at this point... IMO.raider_kin wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 5:41 pm We thought we were getting a better management group/coaching team; we were wrong. Terribly wrong.

I agree and the only thing that has me worried about this staff is how they’re handling the offensive line. Not a fan of it at the moment.Dr Death wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 5:48 pm Give it half a season. Way too early to say at this point... IMO.

I will say the poor play of the OL has received most of the attention but special teams have been almost as bad. They need to fix the return coverage because it’s a problem.Raidernation1979 wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 6:11 pm I agree and the only thing that has me worried about this staff is how they’re handling the offensive line. Seems like 3I/ATLAS is making people paranoid. The sky isn’t falling yet….with a win we are .500 lol. Now if we throw out the same line with the same results Pete needs to have a damn good reason for no adjustments.

I saw on of The Bands first live shows ever (not counting when they were backing up Dylan). Winterland San Francisco April 1969. I was a senior in high school down the road in San Jose. I was there Saturday night in that weekend they debuted. Danilo’s voice was terrific as was Levon’s. Not a fan of Robertson’s guitar but he was a great song writer. One of the opening acts that night still plays around a bit — the Sons of Champlain.Attyla wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 4:26 am Danko's live performance of "It Makes No Difference" is one of my favorite tracks ever. And yes, the Band have all passed on. Garth was preceded by Robertson who passed a few years ago.

We’re likely better off. Sick of seeing Mayer getting tossed into Jeanty like a rag doll.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 3:30 pm We can thank this dumb staff for putting Mayer on kickoff returns and causing this.- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post:
