Good shit! I was just covering nuclear fusion in stars in my chemistry classes today, but I'm hardly an expert on the astronomy side and I did not know this. I checked out a tutorial on YouTube and it was really interesting.

Don't get me wrong I love the Who, but aren't they on like their eleventh Farewell Tour? Are they all even touring now? (excluding Keith of course)

This is it..Last North American tour..they’re like 80 now. Not sure if the whole original band will be there but Rodger and Pete will be there..and that’s pretty much all you need at this point. When you get to that age the only way to see a band when they stop touring is a residency..like the Eagles at the Sphere, who we saw last year the day before MNF vs the Falcons. One of the ZZ Top Members played halftime.

Billy Idol opens for the Who in Vegas so there’s a little bonus, Nice when a seasoned band opens ..got to see Bush, not open but, play a set before Shinedown a few months back at Golden one in Sac. The lead singer of Bush, Gavin Rossdale, walked into the stands during mid song and walked right down our row. Cool stuff.

I also saw Rodger Waters of Pink Floyd at the Sprint Center in Vegas a few years back, the night before McDaniels 1st game against Denver. That was another great concert mixed in with a Raider game. Another Old Geezer of rock to check off the list.

I don't disagree but I would like to point out that John Entwistle was one of the best bass players ever. (passed away now sadly)

I'm pretty certain AP's squad had garbage points to like all teams, just sayin...

I sure hope it gets better.
As bad as the oline is and I figured it wouldn't be good enough but not this bad.
It really is the squad that can have drastic improvement over the season.
Just getting the miss call whiffs fixed for this team will be large.
Lets hope over 17 games those avg's go up.
I'm certain it will if the oline improves along with some play calling.

The Ox (Entwistle) was amazing and IMO, underrated. Watch his right hand fingers if you have never checked him out. I saw The Who in August of 1968 at the Fillmore West. There were absolutely stunning and I was not ready for how good they were because songs like "Can't Explain" and "Substitute" while good on the radio/stereo, become tour-de-forces live. And, in 1968 I got to see Keith Moon before he started way over-doing it and his energy was winding down. I next saw them in 2000 in Sacramento and a few times since. I passed on going to see them at Shoreline Amphitheater (Mountain View) last Sunday as I decided the last time I saw them (Golden 1 in Sac about 3 years ago) was how I was going to remember them. Roger's voice is holding up well, but Pete is definitely showing his age. Heck Roger is 80 and Pete is 81 so bless their hearts for still doing this. "Long Live Rock, It Will Never Die."

Watters is overrated as a bass player. I also think Lemmy was overrated.

Danko was one of my favorite simply because he not only played excellently but was also a talented writer.
Bootsy Collins is right up there with the best as well.
Rudy Sarzo is one of the best out there right now.

Billy Sheehan to me is a cut above many as well.
Ent was fantastic, sadly gone
Jack Bruce was amazing.
One that gets missed is Jaco Pastorius who died way too early but wow.
