I think it’s because when Tyson Bagent shreds you the losses sting longer than one season.

Bears are one of our easier games (Titans and Browns). If we don't win this game, I could see the season slipping away (par for the course as we are usually done by the beginning to mid October). If we lose, the Colts will kick us in the balls the following week and we will be 1-4. Here is hoping we would then become major sellers.

If I had to choose between playing good football going into a Sunday or having a weak opponent going into a Sunday, I’d choose playing good football.

The Raiders have consistently showed me that having a weak opponent means nothing.

That said, this team performed poorly in all 3 phases of the game last week. They will get beat by 2 scores against the Bears if they play to the same level.

Bears defensive problem: poor pass rush and lack of blitzes to get pressure on the qb.

Welp, there's a weakness which we should be able to exploit. If we can keep the pocket integrity Smith might have a shot.

Getsy & Bagent in 2023 and Lazor & Fields in 2021. I’m a little worried about what Johnson and Williams may accomplish against a Raiders defense that has got worse week over week.
