The Off. Line - Complaints, Fixes, Questions, Draft
Mike Tice once said while coaching for the Raiders: “If you look at the offense like a fancy car, the offensive line is the engine. Even though we might have nice spinners and nice rims and tinted windows and some neat paint job, it doesn’t mean crap without the engine. If the engine’s not working, the car might look like a pretty nice car, but it’s a piece of crap.” And he was 100% right. I wish we had him back. Changes must be made on the O-line. Charles Grant is a very athletic lineman. We should give him some reps at right tackle. Bring back Powers-Johnson as the starter at center. Parham has got to go. Maybe we should consider moving Meredith back to guard. He did so well there last year.

I don't have any great insight on the o-line. They f[raiders_icon]cking suck. All of 'em. Each week the magnifying glass on them just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Contact Corleonewhy do we not have any quick passing attack to neutralize the pass rush? Stuff like this is coachable guys, sure it's not ideal to have a shit OL, but there are certain play calls that do punish defenses for getting upfield too quick. Would it kill us to throw a couple screens to Jeanty?

If he doesn't get killed because of the lack of blocking yes.Corleone wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 6:40 pm why do we not have any quick passing attack to neutralize the pass rush? We have a lot more problems to fix besides the O-Line. Defense looked terrible against their average at best back up QB.

Just had a bad game. If you know that the other team is gonna run the ball, due to QB injury, then you have to throw in some more beef. Such as L. Fotu. What happened on special teams was inexcusable.XSeahawksFan wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 6:49 pm We have a lot more problems to fix besides the O-Line. if there aren't better equipped players on the long list of free agents id be surprised.
id be equally surprised if we couldn't find better players at a bus stop.
anaemic and pathetic for everyone involved, the coaches must see this isn't competitive, the higherups like spytek thought these players were nfl ready?
sidenote, how is it only the raiders that never, ever see any kinda uptick from changing the general manager? we end up worse than an expansion team then get a new guy to destroy another part of the team.
its baffling and frankly getting boring
