Personally I feel Mark Davis shouldn't have allowed Pete to hire his own son for such an important role as three games into the season we are facing the fact that the OL is actually worse than it was last season. Puts Carroll in a really bad position if going forward the OL can't improve.

This is the worst OL I can remember seeing but then again, the Twitter film guys said the same thing about the Seattle OLine while ball washing Geno all offseason.

Granted they’re very bad, but Geno dropping back and immediately running towards the defenders isn’t helping matters.

Good QB play mitigates poor Oline. Bad QB play does the opposite.

It's not just the protection. The run blocking is equally horrible. There was that one Jeanty run in particular where three defenders were on him the moment he got the ball. How can multiple blockers let their man get by so easily?

Cuz Darnold is decisive with the ball. Spytek learned nothing and Brady knows nothing.

The only time we hired a GM with previous experience it was a good draft but now the horrible OL hire, who had no business getting the job, has made them regress.

Which is why Brady’s boys deserved to go. Did nothing to upgrade either side of the line, drafted a RB, then hire a OL coach who caused our promising rookie lineman from last year to regress

Reggie got a lot of flack but so far he's proven to be the only Mark Davis hire that knew how to build a team. He built one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and the 12 win season under him is likely going to be the peak of Mark Davis's ownership.
