Game Day Thread, Raiders Visit Washington
Raiders are still a dog in this one even with Mariota tossing the ball. I call that a bad lie but who am I to know. Weather will be nice, so a good day if you are in the area to watch a game.
Prediction, Raiders cover and win 27-17

Pretty much no Raider fans will be there.DrDUne wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:19 pm Going to be tough for Raiders fans to justify the cost of tickets next weekend

You’re playing a backup quarterback and you allow 182 yards on the ground in the first 36 minutes of the game.
The D and O-Lines are weak as piss. Absolutely no spine whatsoever on all of them.
What’s more, the play calling has been so horrific, I actually think Todd Downing would’ve called a better game.

There is about to be a domestic incident at the Toast residence. My wife thinks it's funny to play her "Hail to the Redskins" ring tone after every TD.

25? More like close to 40.rdr43vr wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:19 pm Same shit team 25 years straight. Dissolve the franchise. On the bright side, Sundays are free again to be productive until next September. Wasn't expecting it 3 weeks in but works for me.

Jeanty is has talent but he was a luxury pick for us at that timeSloth_Fratelli wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:17 pm No I said it at the time. Jeanty isn’t a great talent either. Hes not a bust but he has zero acceleration or breakaway speed like Barkley & Robinson. Stupid pick from a stupid organization.
You switch him & Barkley & he balls out behind that Eagles line
It wouldn’t matter what RB or QB we had behind that line there not doing anything & to add to it the OL being awful kills our D as well

I knew you would and God Bless you for that but a lot of fans are going to say screw that.DrDUne wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:22 pm I’m going to be there.
And that said, I don’t blame a single fan for not wanting to go. This team doesn’t deserve peoples hard earned money.

Graham is trash. We should have had 9 in the box every play like the Patriots and dared them to throw the ball. We stay in base the whole game and get destroyed.durham_raider wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:21 pm You’re playing a backup quarterback and you allow 182 yards on the ground in the first 36 minutes of the game.

Yeah, I agree with you. Lamonica, Stabler, Plunkett, Gannon...chumps compared to AOC.mranquales wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:18 pm I stand behind it.
Our offense has never looked better than with Aidan O'Connell.
