Maybe, but he looked seriously lost out there during the preseason. We need to get some thick tree trunks in the middle.

If whomever our Swing Tackle isn’t good enough to start at RT, then sign someone like Wilits or someone else. I’d rather have a subpar RT than an IOL thats so weak you can’t get a 4 yard run without breaking multiple tackles. It’s not like Glaze is elite on the outside anyways.
That's why I wanted oline in the 1st rd. Glaze & JPJ have proven nothing in this league and people were anointing one a future HoF and the other good enough to not need to have any competition or be kicked inside to guard. The thought process on here is a bit ludicrous sometimes

Also people calling out Meredith for a bad snap sure do have short memories of JPJ completely botching a snap against KC last yr

Most players are called average because that's what they are. If our present coaching staff can't get more out of them than the clowns we had last year, then it'll be another year of looking forward to the 7 month stretch in which no games are being played.
We are talking about humans, not pieces on a chess board. The players need to own their performance to a certain degree. Especially when they haven't lived up to expectations for multiple coaching staffs. What Spytek and Carroll need to own is seeing the product last year and thinking they didn't need to add more significant veteran talent.

or, and this is almost never brought up, they tried to add the talent and they could not get it signed, and their evaluation of the talent in the draft when they were drafting had another player ranked higher so they kept true to the board. That is not to say that the board can be wrong, it most certainly always is to some degree or another.

If (a BIG f[raiders_icon]cking if) we win the next 2 games, here is hoping that we are talking with the winless (or 1 win) tank teams to make a play for a guard (if not 2 of them).
