He was horrible. Missed wide open throws & threw the ball into double coverage constantly. Of course we screwed up the draft again. Harbaugh takes the job & gets Alt, we draft a RB who doesn’t have blazing speed like Barkley. You know who PFF has as the top 3 tackle? Membou.

Good thing Tom Brady told the GM to not get Darnold. Guy just lit up Pittsburgh but Tom/Pete wanted Geno, it a guy who helped the Vikings to 14 wins last year

Defense played well.. only breakdown was the 60 yard TD pass

OLine is not good for a second week in a row
QB play hasn’t been good in 2 games
Smith had several plays where the lanes opened up to run, gotta use your legs, even Herbert ran 3 or 4 times

Gotta make OLine changes zero push at C , Putnam? Move Meredith back to guard?

Well when you lost 20-9 and the score wasn’t that close a lot of blame goes around. Well almost the defense did their best to keep us in the game. It wasn’t enough but it is still early in the season.

1 Geno had a horrible day. A couple into were bad luck but he was reckless with the ball all game. I’m sure he will bounce back but do no harm is the first job of the qb,

2 The refs were in the Chargers pocket tonight but they are not the reason why we lost.

3 OL was horrible. They were a worry this offseason for a reason.

4 Far too many people are calling Jenaty a bust after two games.

5 What the heck is up with Kelly’s play calling?

I disagree with 4 & strongly disagree with 5.
Jeanty never showed explosion. I don’t think he will be a bust but when you’re top 5 you need to hit on a PREMIUM position or get an elite talent like Brock.

Chip drew up several great calls against a good defense. Geno missed them…badly

Meredith kept snapping the ball to the right of Geno and hit his ass on a shotgun snap. Not impressive.
