Game Thread: Raiders v. Chargers Mon. night home opener
We are the last game of the weekend and it’s a big one against the League’s vagabonds.
Since KC and Den lost. The winner of this one gets to get a very early lead in the division.

Yall wanna blame Geno, but ask yourself why nobody is getting open
This was my concern coming into this season. No real receivers. Not a single one.

I don’t think Chip has called a single run in the red zone tonight.
That’s too easy to defend theoretically…
It was easy to defend in practice as well.

Geno aint it.
So far on the season: 1 TD, 4 interceptions.
How soon is too soon to start scouting college QBs?

I admit I was fooled into thinking Geno could be a good qb. Read too many articles he’s accurate, tough, great in a dome. I never watched him enough. 2 games in and he’s shit. I seriously hope this team be it ownership, management and or coaching is working diligently to get us a real qb.

Not sure why we draft Jeanty and not make a better effort to work him into the play calling?...
Where is Chip Kelly's vaunted creativity?

Said it in preseason and actually at the beginning of last season too: we have AT BEST a mediocre offensive line but actually below average and our defensive backfield is "who?" Without a top flight pass rush, the deficiencies of our D-backfield is totally exposed.
OK, the Raiders have a lot of work to do but it is a long season and we will see what the new coaching staff can come up with.
