Washington will be taking a step back this season and yes....Raiders can win this game.

Well, watching the game showed us what it takes to contain the Redskins quarterback and to beat them, all you need is a really good offense and a really good defense.

I don't get the clowning of Daniels and the Commanders. This Packer defense is f[raiders_icon]cking ELITE. Which is why it was ridiculous to believe that adding Parsons didn't make them a contender.

I’ve done some research on this and have found that the reason is because a huge swath of humanity are just pitiful little things.

Mack looked super great early with the Bears to, that said I do feel Parson's will continue to excel.

2 weeks ago, were the Raiders one player away at 45+ million for 4 years, 2 firsts and a starting DL?
Sure, we're one now since we beat the Pats and sit atop the AFC West after week 1. /s

But those who say "see what others said about this" pointing to them possibly being wrong.
Who they themselves may have been one that stated our defense would suck because of back 7 and what we lost in FA.

GB was already a contender without Parsons, so this fits the mold of you make this move when you are so close.

Green Bay is stout this year. By the looks of things they will be able to trade punches with Philly.

I still like the Commanders and Jayden Daniels. They will remain in the hunt and JD is still one of the best young QB's in the NFL. I don't believe he will have a CJ Stroud sophomore slump.

As bad as they were overmatched they still hung in there.

Is any team really "one player away"? I'd argue that our offense is better than Green Bay's. I'd also argue that having two elite pass rushers (whether two DEs or DE & DT) are a necessity, not a luxury in today's game. Which is why I don't believe the one player away rule applies to acquiring a, not only elite DE, but the best defensive player in the game. In my opinion, he's worth much more than what the Cowboys got.

I'd much rather be the youngest team in the league than the oldest. Packers have some time in front of them that Washington doesn't.

All the moves are before the season started. So we can revise what we think after game 1, we didn't know then and I'm still not sure what we all know now. It's was a nice start.

Did we really think our O is better than GB's? Skills wise, close'ish. Oline wise, GB has a top 10 oline and we are below average. Big diff there.
2 Elite pass rushers is a luxury since nearly no team has that, is it great? Yes. I'm all about a dominant front 4.
The one player away rule is also dictated by salary cap. If you need a lot of players you can't keep having monster contracts during that time.
Once your close and you can finagle a large contract in, do it. That's one player away at least to me.

Cowboys as a team that was more than one player away and it would have been another huge contract to absorb, you have to think that is what they were thinking otherwise they would have signed him. Just having Micah didn't make the Cowboys a perennial deep playoff threat, it will always be a team game.

Dolphins had a players only meeting after one game, not a good sign, and McDaniel looks like he’s already been fired.

Players only meetings in the first quarter of the season are never good signs. Raiders had their share of those in past seasons.

Dolphins +12 tonight, I’m hoping for the upset. I like a little chaos to mix things up.
