I would not be mad getting a 2nd for him TBH if he wants a ridiculous bag.

He’d probably take less money just to get away from this perpetually losing franchise.

WR Terry McLaurin agrees to three-year extension worth up to $96 million.
This crazy salary drives up Meyers new deal.

I said this in another thread, but I wholeheartedly believe Jakobi's numbers are insane. Probs compared favorably to the contract Courtland Sutton just got. It's a horrible WR market right now. I would gladly trade Jakobi and start Bech. Despite what the PR staff and coaches are telling you, trading for Geno smith doesn't mean we're in win now mode. We're a long ways away and $40 mill guaranteed for a slot receiver is a bad deal.
We need to apply the blame to who deserves it, especially when it's the Broncos:
"Courtland Sutton signed a four-year, $92 million contract extension with the Denver Broncos on July 28, 2025, which includes a $18.5 million signing bonus, fully guaranteed 2025 and 2026 base salaries, and a 2026 option bonus. The deal has a new-money average of $23 million per year"

I'd trade his ass for a 4th round pick. Slot WR's are a dime a dozen.

My Thornton pick in fantasy is looking good.

I think I’d extend him just short of $20, but I’d be looking to move on after this year.NoThanksSir wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 12:40 pm I'd trade his ass for a 4th round pick. Slot WR's are a dime a dozen.
