Raiders@Seattle-1st Preseason Game -Thursday
I'll be there. Anyone else in the PNW going? Looking forward to watching Jeanty get a few carries in the first quarter.
Coach Pete is well liked up here, he should get a nice welcome from the Seahawks faithful.

So, does Miller get a full half of football against the niners at least? O'Connell is known. Maybe give Geno the first quarter, Miller the second and third and O'Connell the 4th. I'd like to see more of Miller early on to see how he does with better competition.

We can only hope it's obvious what AO12's ceiling is, and I hate the fact that he wears #12Oaktownonly wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 5:44 pm So, does Miller get a full half of football against the niners at least? Im very sure in our case the pass will open up the run. I didn't notice Bowers and he'll be open all year.
Add Mayer looked good underneath.
I'll stand by my word and say again we should've went Oline in the second because this Dont'e Thornton Jr was a steal and can make an immediate impact this year. Add we have Tucker and Jakobi and then ask how many targets does one offense need?
Once the box is cleared because Chip Kelly will have defenses in dime all day Jeanty will have plenty of space to run.
We have a 6'5" WR who runs a 4.30 and a QB who's not afraid, and can air it out; unlike the past 11 years...dont go there lol...
..that should open up the deep middle for Brock and Jacobi very nicely...
..and thats if Geno doesn't dump.it off to Jeanty or Mayer...
...............................................Jeanty will have room.
and im not worried about the oline. It'll sort itself out and doesn't need to be top 10.

I would have cheered my team flipping him off while my coach tried to tear it down.pfish57 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 5:23 pm To bad that rally didn't transfer to the field of play. I'm sure if you had been standing next to him you would have torn up the poster & curb stomped him lmao
What would you have done, been posting about Sidney Sweeney not having great jeans?

Man just when we think you can't come up with a more bizarre post you step up to the plate.rich72 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 3:43 pm I have some butter in the fridge that has been in there longer than Geno has been a Raider. He hasnt earned the right to flip people off yet while in a Raider uniform. Let the play on the field do the talking, anything else is just fronting.

It’s hard do disagree with you on this considering your expertise in this area.pfish57 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 4:15 pm I imagine the fan with the poster got the exact response he wanted, and loved every minute of it, ignoring him would have done more damage...just saying.

It's funny to me Raider fans are arguing if a player giving opposing fans the finger is even a controversy. Good Lord, non story folks. At the time, only a dozen people saw what happened and the world didn't change. Thanks to social media it exploded. BFD
Move on to the next game already

"Let the play on the field do the talking, anything else is just fronting." seems like a reasonable take...just sayingFLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 6:19 pm Man just when we think you can't come up with a more bizarre post you step up to the plate. There is a time limit before you can flip a bird? Youre 1000% correct but we are only talking about a glorified practice........not the Super Bowl, not a playoff game, not even regular season.......we are talking about a practice.pfish57 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 6:53 pm "Let the play on the field do the talking, anything else is just fronting." seems like a reasonable take...just saying
A fan held a sign punching on Geno, he smiled and flipped him off and Maxx joined him and then the went out and practiced. Truly a non story

It blows my mind that we have 3 pages of appropriate bird-flipping etiquette. A bird is all in the context of the time and place the delivery of said bird is given. It’s damn near as prevalent as a turn signal on a SoCal road.Xramfan wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 6:51 pm It's funny to me Raider fans are arguing if a player giving opposing fans the finger is even a controversy. A buddy sending me one is about the same as the kids doing the heart hands thing.
Waving to the good widow Miss Tamberlee in church with it. Not so good.
Giving one to the wife cause she says, “Dump that garbage”. Really bad.
A response to douchebaggery. Couldn’t be more well said.
In the setting of football, doesn’t raise one follicle of an eyebrow.
And to all you lovely people. Well…

Oh my goodness. I dont flip people off as I consider it pretty basic and stupid but this is a total non story and I couldn't care less that Geno and Maxx flipped off the fan before the game.
