On the first drive with Geno the line was

Line was OK...

2nd drive was

Rogers whiffed so bad on the DT on his first run block and that got Jeanty stuffed for 4 yards. Glaze got beat around the corner causing AOC with the intentional grounding.

3rd Drive

Munford should of been cut last year, Grant played ok at LT. Rogers is not ready to play. One thing I noticed is Carrol threw the rookies into the fire to see if they could survive.

Here's Aidens first preseason game and went on to have a near flawless preseason and since... he's been mid at best.



Calling it like it is, Cam has like a 1 in 50 chance to really matter.
He had a nice start, we've seen it before.

Sorry to all the O'Connell fans out there but Miller is the real deal. He needs reps but I am planting my flag now that he is the next generation of Raiders QBs. In two years we will forget O'Connell was ever on the team.

Let’s remember Aiden lit up a preseason game & even last year a YouTuber said he outplayed Mahomes, which in fairness he probably did.

I agree we should trade Aiden to NE & give Miller more reps

Is Cam Miller our Brock Purdy?

I’m a Cyclone alumnus, not a die hard, but before Purdy’s senior year he was listed in late 1st/2nd round of most mocks I saw. Then he had a bad senior season, especially that horrid INT which went viral. So I wouldn’t compare the 2 in that regard cuz he was slated to go high

#79 Laki Tasi. Yes it was against the 2s and 3s but he was mauling pancaking pushing the DL like he has been playing football his whole life.

the deep ball INT, I just watched it again, that is all you need to know on O'Connell.

It was shockingly bad. The rookie had his man beat for a TD and that ball was a good 10 yards under thrown (with no pressure on the pocket!)

I'm not sure I see the potential that some others are seeing.

There is no potential. There never was. Only in the minds of Raiders fans with blinders on was there potential.

I think we’ll see a greater equality in playing time for the backups the next 2 preseason games. I just don’t see any vast improvements out of AOC. His limitations don’t change. Dude came into the league at his ceiling.

AOC isn’t that bad, he’s just one of those guys that needs a perfect pocket to deliver the ball consistently. He can’t throw while on the run or while rolling out of the pocket because of his limited athleticism and lack of arm strength while on the move. Retain him until he drops to 4th string.
