No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.

Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Can't believe some simpletons really bought his Rah Rah Raiders bullshit. One of the most embarrassing coaches in Raider history. THANK YOU Spytek for hiring Pete Carroll, hopefully this regime can wash off the stench of that scummy used car salesman.

Raider fans suffer from battered wife syndrome. Nasty analogy but it's true, we've been abused for so long that any good news is proof they've turned a new leaf. Antonio Pierce was the least qualified, most amateur coach I've seen in my life and people rationalized it. I can't let that shit just die. Maybe Carroll won't do well but holy f[raiders_icon]ck that short period of Antonio Pierce was a fever dream. Hard to believe folks believed in him.

It was hard to push back on the AP obsession because it was rooted in fandom and not football. I disengaged, it was hard to reason with folks once they chose to believe Pierce was qualified to be a HC. I don't think I was the only one

I wasn't a fan, but at least we won...Pierce screaming Raiders, causing a bunch of audio feedback in the microphone because he's standing too close, to a bunch of dudes in Mark's good graces who regurgitated it to the clapping seal masses who bark if you say Raider loud enough..it made me embarrassed. I'll take the victory lap!

Gruden's bus ride is the gift that keeps on giving. Pierce and his "raiders" chants are just a demonstration that anything beyond two syllables is beyond his capabilities

Still think this guy woulda been nice for a late round pick.
Completely agree. People on here were trashing this dude hard but his upside was worth a late round pick alone.

I could have seen a late pick for him. But the bottom line is he still has a long way to go. To be worth anything that matters at QB you need to be a yearly no questions asked starter, otherwise your just spinning wheels. Will he make it there?

Generally Speaking:
Hitting the Pierce tracks again.
If we don't make him HC and we suck after, what if's for a long time.
He cost us one year, no big.
Who would we have got last year instead? Whoever that was, are they better than Pete and Co today?
The changes cascade.

Yep. He's all arm and nothing else. Just like a former qb here, he's the same exact qb he was in college. Can throw a ball a country mile but can't do anything else a qb is required to do. People see that arm and get all giddy, forgetting there's much more to playing qb other than throwing a pretty ball

Maybe. But he is what AO12 isn't and that alone made him worth a late round pick. I can honestly say that if Geno went down, I would rather have Milton behind center than AO12. That was my whole point then
