Kidding aside, I’m curious what you think being calm and relaxed, or not, has on the team?

Now…what about one’s life?

Unless you work for the Raiders or the NFL in some capacity, It’s just entertainment dude. You have the power to turn that shit off if it’s f’n you or your loved one’s lives up.

God bless and Go Raiders.
Beat me to it. Speaking just for me, and probably quite a few others, it's just another form of entertainment. So many other hobbies I love as well.

From the owner all the way down to the water boy they really couldn't care less about the fans and don't even have a clue as to who we are on this board. Yes, they would love to win for themselves first! And then the residual of that are happy/boasting fans. Well, check that. There is that certain percentage...

The eagles are stacked at corner, he may be able to develop when the pressure is off him to be the man over there.

No. They were stacked at DT ...that is why they traded one for a CB.

Yeah, we’ll still be adding in the secondary.

Clearly Bennett wasn't in their plans and they moved him for a player that addresses a need with Wilkins being released and Fotu in a walking boot. By media accounts Bennett was being shopped for weeks and the market just wasn't there so the braintrust took the best offer and moved forward.
He HAD a solid track record for the Seahawks. It remains to be seen if he can replicate that here.

In 18 pro seasons, he had 4 years with a losing record. He was out of coaching for one year. It is not like he came back after a long time away from the game. And that is not even considering his college record. I would bet on the winner to find a way to win. Maybe not this season but I would not be surprised if he gets us close.

I really hope Booker becomes a valuable piece. If he's just average then our defense is still subpar imo. The offense will carry the team this season.

This defense will give up a ton of yards. Wishful thinking is that Pete rubs off and they make more turnovers. The definition of bend but don't break. It'll come down to some of these guys playing loose and going out there and snagging a few

Thomas Booker IV 6'3" 301lbs 25yo
2024 stats
About 2 games?
played 171 snaps
8 solo tackles
10 assist tackles
3 Tackles for Loss
4 Pressures
1 Sacks
1 Blocked Passes

We need a solid rotation and hes a nice addition.

Well he had a pretty stellar line/backfield around him to produce those stats.

Frigg the CB stats and lets go with building the defensive line rotation.

A CB cancels one WR.
A sack cancels all of the WRs

So were the rest of his teammates on that line, do we discount their stats too. He takes on double teams on many of those plays if you watch his film. He rotated in mostly for Carter, so he he didnt have one stellar piece to help him out.
