WTF? I have a hard time believing he was released because he was tickling toes or grabbing nutsacks. The Raiders clearly feel that with him not having the surgery that they saw no timetable for him to return and the new regime simply acted quickly rather than have the dark cloud of his status hang over training camp. Remember the new regime inherited him and clearly didn’t think he was a good fit for what they are trying to build.

Hendrickson rode out to practice on a horse that he borrowed from a farmer he saw on his way to the field. Freddie smoked on the sidelines during games. Stabler studied his playbook at a bar drinking beers the night before games. We had bowls full of uppers in our locker rooms and guys were grabbing fistfuls of them before games and were literally tweaking while standing for the anthem. Madden f[raiders_icon]cked with Stram who was afraid of rodents that they had laid out traps for them in his locker room because they had been spotted there.

We own f[raiders_icon]cked up shit in this league, Wilkins makes the top ten but he is not even close to the top of the list.

I think you are right. I will comment on the medical end. I had Jones fracture surgery (along with 2 other breaks in my foot) in Feb (4 months after Christian's surgery) requiring several screws. I could not put weight on my foot. My foot was not healing and I went back for another surgery in mid April. I was able to put weight on my foot (walking boot) one month later and right now I am at least 90% (and I am much older than Christian). Granted he may have had additional problems (who knows). I thought the rumors about his season being over were premature (based on what I went through). I think its possible the team may have thought this as well since he was placed on the PUP list (and not the injured reserve list). I will leave it up to the expert and guru on the board to diagnose what transpired and how much of this was medical and how much was his shenanigans.

That Clemson/OSU tape in my opinion he could have been charged with some level of assault.

That is intentional as hell and way out of the norms to the point you simply aren't protected because it happened on field.

Minimum suspension for a period of time.

Scheffer found the most harmless way to allude something a bit risque without it being very offensive as it was the other person(s) that over reacted, a way to report something but not be liable for going too far. But maybe Christian is always pushing this envelope and enough is enough. I dunno, this is getting close to the "hey were are grown men talking about shit like this" territory. But at the same time, sure you want to know what really all went down to have him cut like this.

With how tight lipped they are about the "incident." I think it's a starter. I somehow doubt it's Maxx, the other likely name who he might have some experience would be Butler. Which if I played all of last season and balled out while Wilkins chilled at home, only to have this dude come into the lockerroom and try to give me a kiss on the forehead like I was a child, I'd react the same way.
