Need to see contract terms, guaranteed money if any. Veteran presence, more camp competition, player mindset they want, and already familiar with Pete's culture.

Usually you get a depth piece in a veteran safety, the department it hurts the most is special teams. A Trey Taylor, Chris Smith loses their spot. I know we added Lonnie Johnson.

He is only 29 and as you said he adds some experience to the secondary. Hopefully he can shake the injury bug.

Jamal Adams is NOT the veteran "presence" or the locker room "presence" we want on this team. Dude is a COMPLETELY washed up player on the field and a cancer off the field. Pete or not, terrible signing.

It's the groundhogs day effect, we've seen so many of these signings turn out bad, with very few offering a return, it's the natural reaction.
