Late round QBs? Yes please.

No position on he field matters more. Whether he busts of becomes a backup he is one half of what I want to see us doing: churning the position until we have a starter and/or super star.

Will it be him? Odd say most likely not. However, should he be the guy? If not we should be looking at drafting a QB early and one late, perhaps even after we hit.

This year we had so many holes I can almost give a pass for not drafting one earlier but want to see this trend continue.

I don't blame them. As I said earlier, I don't hate the kid. I just don't want what could come with drafting him. If we could be guaranteed he would be an elite QB.... sure, take what comes with it.... if anything actually does come with it. He plumeted in the draft because of what was/is perceived to come with him... right or wrong.

Every team in the league, many of which were quarterback starved teams passed over him multiple times including his new team who passed over him six times before finally drafting him. And one of those previous selections was a quarterback.

Sometimes talented QBs are overlooked because their success was against poor competition.
