He's a beast and the Raiders are going to have a great TE duo for years to come!

Really a big deal for a rookie to overcome all the name recognition and career achievements of the usual suspects to be voted by his peers. Can’t wait to see what he’s like when he’s more experienced.

Brock Bowers, first team all-pro, but not expected to be offensive rookie of the year. Lol.
Make it make sense.

As good as Bowers is, his position cannot transform a team from loser to winner like the QB position so I'm not too upset that Daniels will get it as the Redskins are playing this weekend largely because of what he was able to do at his position.

Count me in the Brock should be ROY camp. I think if a non-QB does what he does and can't win it, then it trivializes the award. In general I have an issue with the way the NFL does these type of things. They need to carve out a space for non-QBs to have their accomplishments celebrated.

I read over all the votes for all positions and see that only two other raiders had a vote at all. AJ Cole and Spillane. There were 11 DEs voted on and Maxx wasn’t one of them.

I agree Daniels had a great year, there's no disputing that, but what Brock has done under the circumstances is hard to ignore. With a first team all-pro selection, he has a couple of records to go with it, including one that stood for 60 years. Brock did this without a single lick of consistency on the offensive side of the ball from the quarterback position to the staff. Bowers definitely elevated the Raiders ability on offense, it unfortunately didn't translate to as many wins.
I'm not saying Daniels doesn't deserve the award, but my vote would be Bowers.
Perhaps I'm a bit biased.

Not only did Brock single handily save the season from being a total dumpster fire, his presence will attract coaching candidates and other FAs, and he will grow into a new leader to take some of the pressure off of Maxx. Just a total gem of a draft pick and one of the pillars to build a solid team around. Best 1st round draft pick since Mack, best 1st round offensive draft pick since Tim Brown which is crazy to think about.
